This is a comic I made for a 24-Hour Comic Day a few years ago. The idea spawned from something I read when I was little about Charles Darwin. It said that before he left the Galapagos Islands, he collected a bunch of tortoises so he could eat on the way home. The idea of Darwin collecting them just seemed kind of evil so I grew up with the image of him marching them onto a ship.
I had always wanted to do something with that idea, so I finally found an opportunity when I decided to try my hand at a 24-Hour Comic. This was made with various programs. The 3d models posed through Daz 3d. Most of the backgrounds, sky, and terrain were created with Bryce 3d. All of the images were assembled into a comic book format using Smith Micro's Manga Creator.

I don't see how this couldn't be the exact history of what happened on the Galapagos. Why else would the Galapagos still play such a prevalent part in the discourse on evolution if something seriously sinister hadn't happened? Also, I'm hungry...Product details
