Rock Hard was the sweetest, most heart warming rock star/musician romance I’ve EVER read!!!True, this is a genre a don’t venture very often given my personal pet peeves, and specially the renown and usual groupie drama attached to the trope, but this sugary sweet smutty story had nothing of those!
What it did have was one smoking HOT, swoon-worthy hero, Caspian! Sigh…
Caspian and Elodie have been in love with one another since they were teenagers, so when after two years of dating they were broken apart by her parents, and Elodie thought she had lost her heart forever.
What she didn’t know was that her life was indeed storybook like, because not once, not even for a minute, did Caspian let go of her, and time and space meant nothing because she was always on his mind. She was is lifeline, his everything…
Eight years passed, and just when she least thought possible, her life and heart rebooted, because right in from of her, as a rock star in a crowed concert was her First Love, Caspian Cruz.
Of course that very fast all the misconceptions were cleared and they fast realized that they were still just as much in love and devoted to one another now as they were eight years prior.
Actually, if anything, their love shone even brighter now, because their repressed sexual craving (LOL) took it a whole new level, now that they were adults!
Caspian was already the perfect romance hero, with his immeasurable devotion to Elodie, but that extra dirty mouthed talk of his… Lordy… Not even Elodie was prepared – not that she was angelic in between the sheets – specially considering their equal inexperience on that regard.
I sure as hell loved every second of it! And it more than guaranteed Caspian a place on my best book boyfriend list – and the main reason for my five star rating -, because equal parts sweet, devoted, loving and panty-melting is something we don’t see in romance these days. And that is exactly what Kat Austen gave us, once again, in the most perfect and unusual – least for me, at least – of settings. I can’t wait for her next super sweet, sizzling hot, smutty read! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Quick hot read.
I liked Rock Hard it's an ok read, from the first chapters you meet Elodie a famous pianist playing at her concert then later meeting up with her girl friends.
The girls were instantly likable characters, talking about men, having fun and banter before heading to a surprise rock concert for Elodie an attempt to cheer her up from her break up and cheating ex.
Elodie hadn't been to a Rock concert in years to many memories of the boy she had loved and lost, teenage love that got separated by controlling parents protective over Elodie's career as a pianist and they took her away to another state, Elodie never got the chance to say goodbye or heard from him again.
That was 8 years ago.
Rock Hard is predictable with cheesy roll you're eyes hot sex scenes and a quick read.
Rock Hard was the best, the sweetest, the sweetest 2nd chance romance you will read. I loved reading the MC come back into each other’s’ world again and when they did , oh they let the reunion commence between each other.
Elodie and Caspian fell in love together at a young age but were separated and Elodie ended up without her true love. About 8 later Elodie who by now is a classical pianist , is out with her girlfriends, trying to get over how she caught her boyfriend cheating on her. So they took her to see a popular rock band that she hadn’t heard of. When the show started, who should be the lead singer but her lost love, Caspian. She is shocked into running. That is when things really heat up. Caspian isn’t going to let his lost love run from him, especially after all this time. I loved the lost love/2nd chance reunion theme this story had . Their love story was semi angsty, full of passion and definitely had that alpha vibe coming from Caspian while the innocent vibe from Elodie was there. Oh its hot and steamy and novella length. I loved this and my only complaint, I wish this was longer. Otherwise, this was fanastic!!

I was so not expecting how much I enjoyed this book. I typically like things a bit darker, but something about this second chance story just hit the right nerve for me. So we meet Elodie when she is being drug out to a concert by her two friends. She pretty much has given up on finding love and focuses mainly on her music. She is shocked to find her lost true love on stage as the hot lead singer Caspian Cruz. So will things be different this time? Or will they be too haunted by the past?
So I had one very small issue with the plot….if he was her true love and he is now the lead singer of a rock band, how did she not find him sooner? That part did not ring true for me, but the rest of the story was 100% perfection! I loved the way they each held on to a bit of the past and the way they find each other again. It was like a fairytale and I was so shocked to hear what happened all those years ago. This is a wonderful short story that I think will suit a variety of readers.
